NIGEL JONES BDS (U. London) DPDS (U. Bristol) PgCertDE (U. Bedfordshire)

Nigel Jones qualified at Kings College Hospital, London, in 1980.
After 5 years in the Royal Navy and working as an associate in Weymouth he bought this established practice in 1987.

Nigel has a special interest and experience in Orthodontics (that aspect of Dentistry concerned with the position of teeth)
having worked part time for six years at Dorset County Hospital.

Mr. Jones gained a diploma in postgraduate dental studies at the University of Bristol in 1996.

He has lately been involved with managing the adaptation from hospital to general practice for young dentists,
following from his PgCert in Dental Education he is now a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

He is a keen supporter of the British Dental Association and has held numerous local and national posts, within the organisation.
He is a past President of the Wessex branch of the British Dental Association.

Additionally he is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and also the British Medical Acupuncture Society.
